Set in a detective’s office in Dublin sometime between the Great Depression and WWII, visiting detectives can try to solve true mysteries by perusing through vintage facsimile documents and photographs to gather true history clues. Discover who’s who by examining “Sleuth Trunks” filled with vintage photo albums, letters and newspaper clippings that tell mysterious stories from Dublin’s past. Study case files and learn about some of Dublin’s more colorful characters like the visionary Lois Jordon (aka the White Angel), who ran a soup kitchen in Dublin. While set in a fun and fictitious environment, the exhibit will have solid facts and provide clues that will lead the way to successful research for historians and the curious of all ages. This exhibit is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, only.

The Dublin Farmers' Market begins its free concert series at its “First Thursday” events, the first Thursday of each month, May through September. Along with beer and wine tastings from local breweries and vintners, Market-goers can enjoy the following free concerts: * May 4, Pop Fiction (‘80s Cover Band); * June 1, Long Train Running (Doobie Brothers Tribute Band); *July 6, Long Time (Boston Tribute Band); *August 3, Big Jangle (Tom Petty Tribute Band); *September 7, San Francisco’s Ultimate Tribute to Journey Band. The season line-up is a nod toward the City’s 35th anniversary, with music reminiscent of 1982 radio favorites. The first concerts will be held in the Emerald Glen Plaza, but will move to the new amphitheater once The Wave, the City's new recreation and aquatic complex, opens at the end of May.
