This program will help you learn how to: download eBooks from the library’s catalog onto an e-reader, tablet, laptop, etc; download the apps (if necessary) for the eBook collections onto your device; help you set up your account with your Alameda County Library card; and check out, access, and return eBooks and eAudiobooks.     Windows 10 offers a more robust, more powerful, and completely unique computing experience. Using a library laptop, you'll master the basic skills you need to get the most from Windows 10 for both work and play. Participants must be comfortable using a touchpad or trackpoint for navigation instead of a mouse. This class is the second class of a two-part series. Part 1 occurred on Thursday, September 13.

  7. Fall Used Book and Media Sale

    Friends of Dublin Library, Inc., invites you to shop for bargain books and audio-visual materials at its semi-annual Used Book and Media Sale. Most prices are $1 or less. Funds from the sale go toward purchasing the Library's materials and supporting its programs. The sale features specially-priced books; vintage books; a teachers materials section; and Sunday specials, including half-off selected items and "Bag Day," when shoppers can fill a paper bag (provided) for $5.00. Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., is for members, only. Memberships will be available for purchase at the door, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

    Free board game play for the entire family! Join us once a month for our Board Game Day (formally Board Game Night). We will have a variety of board games to play during the program, and teen volunteers will be there to help you learn a new game, or to play along with you. Most of our games are for ages 5+, and include Uno, Candyland, Connect 4, checkers, memory/matching games, and more.
