The Wave Waterpark Opens for the Summer on Saturday, June 1

The Wave Waterpark, located at Emerald Glen Park (4201 Central Parkway), will be open daily for the summer season, Saturday, June 1, through Sunday, August 11.  Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., but half-day tickets may also be purchased from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.   Once school resumes, the waterpark will be open weekends, only, August 17 through Labor Day, September 2.

The Wave features a year-round natatorium (indoor pool), used for swimming lessons, lap swimming, fitness classes, and recreational swimming; an outdoor sports pool used for recreational swimming and the City’s recreational swim team, the Dublin Green Gators; a Splash Zone, an outdoor boardwalk-themed water playground with a beach-style entry, two small waterslides, and interactive water play features; a 48-foot tall slide tower with six waterslides; a concession stand with a newly expanded menu; and a community room, available to rent for parties and meetings.

In addition to discounted pricing for veterans and active duty military (and their families), there will be additional promotions taking place at The Wave this summer.  Dads and grandfathers are free on Father’s Day weekend, June 15 and 16, with purchase of a regular price child’s admission (over the age of two); and there will be “Parents Go Free” days on June 3, July 8, and August 5 (with the purchase of admission for a child over the age of two; limit two free adults per family).
