With an expected final completion date in mid-August, the City will begin adding the final lift of pavement to Dougherty Road on July 9. This portion of the project is expected to last through July 20. Drivers can expect delays from lane closures and turn restrictions during this period.
The first several days of paving will involve the northbound lanes from Scarlett Drive to the northern city limit; the second phase will involve the paving of southbound Dougherty Road from the northern city limit to Scarlett Drive; the last phase will be the paving from Scarlett Drive to Dublin Boulevard.
Following the paving process, the final stage will involve striping the roads and completing the hardscape and landscaping of the medians.
The City of Dublin extends its thanks to the community for your patience during this and other roadwork projects, as we work to maintain and improve the safety and quality of our roads.
