Dublin Crossing Community Park Master Planning Process
The City of Dublin has embarked on a year-long community planning process for the new 30-acre community park that will be centrally located in Dublin on a portion of the former Camp Parks Army Base property. The planning process is anticipated to be complete in Fall 2016. Once developed, the central location of the park, along with the overall development, is expected to enhance the connectivity of Dublin. The Land Use Development Plan provides reference to the location of the park and overall development of Dublin Crossing. Last fall, the City's design firm SWA Group led the public outreach efforts as part of the "listening phase" of the process. After compiling and analyzing the input received from the appointed Task Force members, community members, and the web-based survey, SWA Group developed three design concepts. Residents were asked to complete a survey in Spring 2015, detailing their opinions about the three concepts. The information received from the public will guide the development of a single design concept which will be further refined through the process.
